October is here, friends, and we have two Sundays left in the outdoor market season. Join us this Sunday, October 4, from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM at 7800 Golden Valley Rd in Golden Valley, under the Water Tower. Bring your market bag and make time for a look around, a conversation with a grower, and a little live music along the way.
This week’s lineup brings together 42 vendors and community participants, with growers, bakers, food makers, handmade goods, and ready-to-eat options. The Blutopians will play throughout the market, and yoga begins at 9:30 AM. Whether you’re stopping in for your weekly shopping or meeting a friend for a relaxed morning, we’d love to see you.
Start with the growers
Seven growers are scheduled for Sunday. Take a walk through their stands and ask what they’ve brought this week. Shopping at the market gives you a chance to speak directly with the people behind what’s on the table, compare your options, and choose what works for your household.
You don’t need to arrive with every purchase planned. Bring a short list, leave a little room for something you discover, and ask questions as you browse. If you’re shopping for the days ahead, a conversation about how to store your purchases can be just as useful as deciding what to bring home.
Food for your market morning and the week ahead
The lineup includes baked goods, specialty foods, honey, preserves, meat and dairy, along with ready-to-eat vendors and food trucks. Browse the categories that interest you and leave time to explore a stand you haven’t visited before. The weekly lineup makes it easy to see who’s scheduled before you head out.
There’s room for both a purposeful shopping trip and a slower morning. You might pick up something for home, look through the food options, and then take a break to listen to the music. Ask vendors about their current selections rather than counting on a particular item from a previous visit; what they bring can change from week to week.
Handmade goods and community connections
Seven participants are listed in Clothing, Crafts & Homemade items this Sunday, alongside personal-care and other market offerings. Take a closer look, ask about the work, and enjoy the chance to meet the people who make it.
Our nonprofit and community lineup includes Master Gardeners and local organizations. Stop by their tables as you make your way through the market. These conversations are part of what makes a Sunday under the Water Tower feel like a neighborhood gathering.
Live music all morning
The Blutopians are scheduled from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, so you can enjoy live music throughout market hours. Yoga begins at 9:30 AM. Plan your arrival around yoga if you’d like to take part, or simply make time to listen as you shop.
