Happy Fourth of July weekend! This isn't just any Independence Day — America is celebrating its 250th birthday, and what better way to round out the holiday weekend than a slow Sunday morning at the market?

We'll be under the Water Tower this Sunday, July 5, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the timing couldn't be better. Early July is when the market really starts to taste like summer: just-picked greens and vegetables from our growers, fresh flowers by the armful, local honey, Wisconsin cheese, and bread and pastries still warm from the oven.

The holiday means a slightly cozier lineup than usual — some of our vendors are off celebrating with their families — but there's still plenty to fill your basket and your morning. Grab breakfast or lunch from the food trucks, browse handmade crafts, and stock up on jams, pickles, and preserves for your next cookout.

Live music all morning: Mark Yanni takes the stage from 9:00 to 1:00 — four full hours of tunes to shop, snack, and linger to.

Start the morning right with free yoga at 9:30 am with Hand Heart Yoga, and swing by the Master Gardeners and Golden Valley Garden Club tents with your midsummer garden questions.

Bring the family, wear your red, white, and blue, and let's keep the birthday party going.
